MA Fine Art Painting at Winchester School of Art

Established new studio for own art practice on Isle of Wight (IOW resident since 03)

Ran art therapy workshops and continued psychotherapy practice at Studio for Creative Communication, Southsea (SfCC), a centre for workshops, exhibitions and therapy, as a means of integrating professional interests in art and psychotherapy.

Founded and became director of Studio for Creative Communication, Southsea (SfCC).
Set up own studio at SfCC.

Accepted as member of Art Space Portsmouth studio group; actively involved in management of organisation and group activities until 2004.

Moved permanently to England.

Worked as Gestalt therapist in Frankfurt (until '95) and Hampshire

Trained in Gestalt Therapy (Dipl) and Postural Integration (Dipl) with Eliane Jung, Claude Vaux and Paul Rebillot at the École de Communication Créative in Strasbourg, France.

Worked on a PhD project Theory and Shadow resulting in novel Der Verschlungene (1992-6).

Designed stage set, poster drawings and programme illustrations for Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Orgia for Theatre Bohemien in Bonn.

MA in German Literature, Philosophy and Musicology at J W Goethe University, Frankfurt

Guest Student at Staedelschule Frankfurt in the classes of Prof. Johannes Schreiter and Prof. Thomas Bayrle.

Painting course at Summer Academy, Salzburg (with Prof. Mikl, Vienna).

Apprenticeship in publishing and editing at Suhrkamp Verlag, Frankfurt.
